Michel Manevy is truly offering a chance to slow down. The gardener is organizing tours of his fascinating botanical garden, which he has been maintaining and developing for half a century, during this long weekend. Follow the guide.
He's not just a gardener. A budding philosopher, a bit of a poet and storyteller, Michel Manevy is also the stuff visual artists are made of.
At 81, the retired horticulturist devotes himself to this fascinating 7,000 m² garden, located on the aptly named Chemin du Jardin-Botanique in Fonsala. A timeless place that he has been developing at his own pace for fifty-three years, having started as the end of the family nursery was approaching.
All year round, upon request, you can visit the garden , but this weekend it is especially open for the Rendez-vous aux jardins.
